1 cup HOMESTEAD GRISTMILL OATMEAL PANCAKE MIX
3 T oil
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
Directions
Preheat oiled griddle on medium-high heat.
Blend together buttermilk, oil, and egg in a small mixing bowl.
Add the OATMEAL PANCAKE MIX and stir until well blended.
Ladle the batter onto the griddle and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Menu Suggestions
We like these pancakes with yogurt and honey or applesauce.

Hearty buckwheat pancakes, flavored with maple syrup and butter.

1 egg
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup milk
1 t soda
1/2 t baking powder
1 cup HOMESTEAD WHOLE BUCKWHEAT FLOUR
1/4 t salt
Directions
Beat the egg; add sour cream, maple syrup and milk; mix until the syrup is well blended.
Measure dry ingredients and sift into wet ingredients.
Mix with a whisk and pour about 1/4 cup of batter at a time onto hot griddle or skillet.
Serve as desired.
