Sweet Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup HOMESTEAD CORNMEAL
  • 1 cup HOMESTEAD WHOLE RED WHEAT FLOUR
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 4 t baking powder
  • dash of slaat
  • 1/4-1/2 cup honey or sorghum
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Pour a little bit of oil into a 12″ cast-iron skillet. Heat the skillet in the oven.
  • Mix all ingredients together and pour into heated skillet.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes.
