    Best ever; thanks to my little brother

    Best grits I have ever had! My brother was traveling through Texas and bought me a pound of white grits last year and I loved the taste and stone ground texture so much that I bought 40 pounds for myself and others.

    Seriously, the best grits ever.

    As a good southern boy, I love my grits and a lot of companies tout that they have great grits. We've tried over 20 different grits from all over and Homestead Gristmill Grits are by far the best. They make the creamiest and thickest grits. Every year, we make jalapeño, cheese grits for Christmas and Mardi Gras, and people notice when we didn't use the Homestead Gristmill Grits. We ran out at Christmas and had to use a substitution. They were, "OK," as my cousin said, "just not as rich and creamy as they normally are." We will always have them in our pantry from here on out.
